The conference will be held in the premises of the Institute of the Lithuanian Language.
The Institute is the centre for scientific research of the Lithuanian language. Its main mission is concerned with collecting and storing national resources of the Lithuanian language, fundamental and applied research. The Institute also provides linguistic expertise, publishes articles in popular linguistics, disseminates language related news and works on increasing the prestige of the Lithuanian language in society. Currently the Institute has about 100 employees with over 70 of them taking research positions.
The current premise of the Institute was built in 2000. It is located in the picturesque valley of the river Neris. The main conference hall and several smaller workshop halls are ready for the Nodalida participants.
