Task
Write a short (max. one page) comparison of arc-factored dependency parsing on the one hand, and transition-based dependency parsing on the other hand. Your text should provide answers to the following questions:
- What algorithms are used for the two parsing paradigms?
- How is disambiguation done in these algorithms?
Your article can be based on the lectures and course books. You do not have to take the seminar articles into consideration for this assignment, i.e. you can restrict your discussion to projective dependency parsing.
