The symposium is jointly organized by the Departments of English at Uppsala University and Stockholm University, with the support of LILAe, the Research Network in Literary Studies at the Faculty of Languages, Uppsala University. A revolution in the novel, James Joyce’s Ulysses (1922) continues to provoke and inspire readers almost a hundred years after its publication.
