The space of Dalit Hindi short story in mainstream Hindi literature

This lecture will focus on the tradition of Hindi short story and try to locate the space and importance of Hindi Dalit short story in the mainstream literature, pointing out some possible reasons for its marginalization. It will also throw light on the content of present Hindi Dalit short story. Ajay Navariya is assistant professor for Hindi literature at the Jamia Millia University in New Delhi, acting secretary of the Dalit Authors' Association and author and editor of Hindi prose literature.
