Research
The Karaim dialect of Halich
The subject of my PhD thesis is the study of a Kipchak Turkic language,
Karaim, from a comparative Turcological perspective with special emphasis
on the South-Western dialect spoken in Ukraine. The data to be described
include already published materials, available synchronic descriptions
of this dialect and non-published manuscripts written in Hebrew script.
